HOW TO USE
Wash And Clean Your Hair
Hair experts suggest not applying styling cream on unwashed hair since the result would be less than optimal.
Use a shampoo to wash away debris and dirt from your hair locks and build an excellent base for your upcoming straightening process.
Towel Dry Your Wet Locks
For better results, apply the straightening cream on damp hair; after washing them, use a microfiber towel to soak away all the excess water from your hair.
Then lightly brush and comb through the strands to make sure that there are no knots or tangles in them.
Divide Your Hair Into Small Sections
You have to absolutely avoid grabbing a chunk of your hair and start applying cream to it.
Namely, you must section off all your hair into several parts to ensure that the solution is applied to each hair strand for uniform straightening results.
Additionally, use a rat tail comb to separate the strands and secure each section with a clip for easier cream application.
Apply The Hair Straightening Cream
Now it’s time for the most important step, applying the straightening cream.
Take a small amount of cream in your palm (you can always build up if you need it) and apply it to the selected section of hair starting from the roots (3/4 inch away from the roots) to the ends.
Run your finger through your hair to spread the product evenly.
Repeat the process to cover all your hair with the styling cream and comb through them again, distributing the solution throughout your locks.
Let The Cream Sit
Once you are done applying the cream, let it sit for 20-30 minutes, depending on your hair’s condition.
While for sensitive, color-treated hair, 20 minutes is more than enough, you have to let the production process longer if you have thick, curly hair locks.
Remember not to put on any clips or lay down while the cream is still there (on the manes).
Wash The Hair Again
After letting the cream rest on your hair long enough, it’s time to wash it off; using lukewarm water, wash your hair to make sure that every bit of the product is washed away.
Note: do not use a shampoo or conditioner at this stage.
Again using a microfiber towel, gently tap your hair and remove the excess water.
Do not rub the hair since it might damage the strands and cause potential hair loss
Blow Dry And Finish Off
When your hair is damp, start drying it with a blow dryer. While using the dryer start pulling the hair strands with a round brush to straighten them with a natural finish.
If you are aiming for a more professional, pin-straight result, use a flat iron to straighten your hair after you are done drying them properly.
